Visitdesk allows you to add additional personalized custom fields of your choice to fetch data from the users. You may create your own custom fields and customize the information you collect from visitors during check in. This feature is quite interesting and unique that most of the other software do not support.

How to add a new custom field?
To add a new custom field,
- Select
Navigation->Settings->Check-in settings->Custom fields.
- Click on +ADD CUSTOM FIELD button
- Field dialog box appears.
- Enter Name, data type, key, input type, action etc and click on Add Field button
- Thus, a new custom field will be added and is displayed.
How to remove a custom field?
- Select
Navigation->Settings->Check-in settings->Custom fields.
- The list of custom fields is displayed
- Select Delete icon under operations to delete a pre-created custom field.
How to configure the state of the custom field?
- Select
Navigation->Settings->Check-in settings->Custom fields.
- It displays a list of custom fields
- Select Edit icon under operations and change the status to inactive, in order to disable the custom field.
